TuneUp collects and uses your personal data exclusively in accordance with the requirements of the data privacy laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and for the purposes set forth below. You can obtain this information from our website at any time.
General data transmission and logging upon Internet access
To the extent your web browser, upon accessing our website, automatically transmits data such as date and time of access, URL of the referring website, accessed files, quantity of transmitted data, browser type and version, operating system and/or your IP address, these data will be stored separately from other data that you may provide to TuneUp. These data will be evaluated for statistical purposes and then promptly deleted.
User and usage data
To the extent a contractual agreement is to be established or modified, TuneUp will collect and use your personal data for the purpose of establishing the contract. Upon order of the applicable authorities, we may in a particular case provide information regarding such data (user data) to the extent necessary for purposes of criminal prosecution, prevention of hazards, fulfillment of the statutory duties of the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz) or Military Counterintelligence Agency (Militärischer Abschirmdienst), or enforcement of intellectual property rights.
TuneUp further collects and uses personal data from you to the extent necessary to enable the use of, or billing for, its internet offerings (usage data). In particular, such data include indicators of your identity and information regarding the beginning and end of, and scope of, the usage of our offerings. For purposes of advertising, market research and tailoring of our internet offerings to market needs, we may create user profiles under pseudonyms. You have the right to refuse this use of your data. We may not combine a user profile with the data of the individual to whom the applicable pseudonym relates. Rights of Access, Objection and Deletion

Upon your request this information can also be provided electronically. You also have the right to require the deletion of data that are not necessary for the winding up of a contract, and to withdraw your approval of any use of data to the extent you had previously approved such use (such as subscribing to the TuneUp newsletter).
